Dear Member,
... and so it is Christmas!
This is going to be a very brief editorial.
Firstly - of course - I wish all of my friends and colleagues in Europe a very, very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2020.
Although, of course, millions of ATMs are 24/7, 365 days a year, we humans are NOT machines, so it is good that many of us will get some downtime over the festive period.
As far as the New Year is concerned, I am really looking forward to 2020.
At a personal level, I am planning to devote a significant amount of my time to my role as Chairman of CaLP, the Cash Learning Partnership. It was an honour to be elected to this position and I intend to do the best job I can in guiding the future of an organisation founded by some of the world's foremost charities.
I will also be devoting some of my time to a range of new projects, which promise to be exciting opportunities. These opportunities span Europe, a continent that deserves much more prominence as a world-leading community. In my own small way, I intend to help to take Europe where it belongs; at the top table.
But that is for the future.
For now, please accept my sincere wish that you share happiness and fun with friends and family over the Christmas holidays. Whether or not it has any religious significance for you, there is no doubt it is the time of year when goodwill to all is a universal theme and joy abounds!
Treasure and enjoy every moment!
Seasons greetings to each and every one of you - and to those you love and cherish!
See you next year!
Best Wishes,
Ron
P.S. a seasonal welcome to new members ...
