Auction tickets are now on sale

March 24th will be here soon, so make sure and grab a ticket while you still can.

Seating is limited, but you can lock your spot up today to support the school, get a great dinner, see all of your friends and purchase some amazing items.

We are very excited this year to have the auction at the Evangelical Reformed Church, which is just down the street from the school.

Visit our auction website to buy tickets for the event or click the link below. If you would like to invite your friends then think about buying a table. Tickets are $45 per person and a table is $360. Virtual admission is free for limited silent auction items.

We are also bringing back the Golden Ticket this year. Buy a Golden Ticket for $50 for a chance to win $1,000. These are limited, so get yours before they are gone. You can purchase more than one to increase your odds.

Re-enroll today

Now through March 31, all families re-enrolling their students enjoy priority placement for the 2023-24 school year.

On April 1 - no joke - new families will start taking up any open spots. Demand and inquries from new families is through the roof and we want to make sure that you and your student have their spot reserved today.

ARROW College Fair

Sound Christian Academy is hosting an ARROW College Fair from 2-3:30 p.m. on March 8.

This special event will be a chance for high school students and their parents to meet college representatives and learn about programs and scholarships.

ARROW, which stands for Association for Regional Representatives of Oregon and Washington, will have 12 schools in attendance. Several more representatives have been invited and will be attending. For a list of all schools confirmed, visit our website.

On to state, on to state

The Sound Christian varsity boys basketball team bounced back from a tough defeat Tuesday to win Friday 68-43 against Crescent and Saturday 56-49 against Orcas Island to lock up a spot in the Class 1B State Tournament!

The Lions will play in the state regional round this week at a time, date and location to be determined. If they survive this weekend, then they will head this weekend to Spokane for the final three rounds.

Great job, Lions.

Coffman earns state player of the week award

Eighth-grader Michael Coffman was named a WIAA state player of the week thanks to his red-hot start to the playoffs.

Coffman scored 15 points off the bench in a win against Puget Sound Adventist and then added 20 more against Evergreen Lutheran to help the Lions win their first SeaTac League title in 15 years.

Coffman will receive a letter of recognition from the WIAA Executive Director, a certificate of achievement and a $25 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods courtesy of Gesa Credit Union.

International students

The International Students Program is as busy as can be and needs your help.

We have a short-term hosting opportunity where you can showcase not only our great school, but the amazing country we are blessed to live in.

May 19-22: We will have 40 Japanese students in town to visit and need to provide housing. A stipend is provided and this is similar to the group of 20 we had visit in November, which was wildly successful.
