Ready For Take Off: 88 Days Until Graduation

The countdown has begun—NYU Shanghai’s Class of 2025 will be graduating in just 88 days! On March 7, seniors spent the morning taking senior portraits and getting fitted for caps and graduation gowns. In the afternoon, seniors tried out interactive installations designed by their classmates. Later that evening, they enjoyed entertainment, speeches from leadership, and the signature countdown that ends with a toast to the graduating class!

Shanghai Stories: Promoting Study Away at NYU Shanghai

An event was held in New York on February 26 to promote NYU Shanghai as a study away destination for NYU students. Hosted by Vice Chancellor Jeff Lehman and Associate Dean of Students Adam Ebnit, the event featured a panel of NYU students who studied away in Shanghai sharing their perspectives and was followed by an alumni networking event.

NYU Shanghai Sees Record-Breaking Applications

This year, the total number of undergraduate applications worldwide has reached nearly 24,000, a record high for NYU Shanghai. Over the past three years, the number of undergraduate applications has seen a cumulative increase of 47% for Chinese applicants and 18% for international applicants.

Spring Festival... With an NYU Shanghai Twist

NYU Shanghai welcomed over 50 study away students from NYU, NYU Abu Dhabi, and other schools to campus just in time to celebrate Spring Festival together. During the holiday, students explored the city and visited the homes of NYU Shanghai students living in Shanghai and surrounding cities.

Life Beyond the New Bund: Class of 2024

NYU Shanghai’s Class of 2024, the largest cohort of graduates from the New Bund campus, achieved a 90% overall placement rate. The 430 graduates from 34 countries and regions can now be found all over the world, with 73% choosing to work or study outside their home countries.

Lantern Festival Meets Dumpling Fest

Nearly 500 students, faculty, and staff joined the Lantern Festival Fair/Dumpling Fest this year. The evening featured dumplings from all over the world, lantern riddles, printmaking crafts, sugar painting, and live music performance.
