Amidst a busy week at Development Camp, 34 Preds prospects stepped away from the rink to spend time giving back to our Middle Tennessee community.

Thanks to our sponsors from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee the future stars took part in a community day with the following organizations: Camp Widjiwagan, Cottage Cove, Endure Athletics, Fannie Battle Day Home, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Preston Taylor Ministries, and Room in the Inn.

Over the course of a couple of hours, the players participated in activities such as street hockey, bubble hockey, painting pottery, basketball and other outdoor activities as well as take part in a block party while learning about the Nashville community.

Beer Festival

On Saturday, June 24th we hosted our 5th Annual Craft Beer Festival presented by ORCA Coolers at Bridgestone Arena.

This year's event proved to be the biggest success so far with over 3,000 attendees, 70 breweries, and 200 volunteers. Best of all, we were able to raise more than $100,000 for our foundation programs.

Kids On Ice

Keeping with the mission to grow hockey here in Middle Tennessee, the Preds have committmented select Friday's during the summer months to the "Kids on Ice" program. This past Friday served as the kick-off for Summer 2017 as Ford Ice Center hosted 35 kids from Salama Urban Ministries. For many of the kids it was their first time ever on ice and with the help of volunteers from the Predators staff they had a blast! Predzilla

Nissan announced the donation of a specially created 2017 Nissan GT-R supercar to the Nashville Predators Foundation. The $109,990 GT-R Premium model is custom-painted in Preds' official colors and graphics.

The auction is now live and fans can either text 'Nissan' to 52182 or visit www.Nissan.gesture.com to bid on the car. Also included with the auction prize are two 2017-18 season tickets and parking pass for the Sixth Avenue Garage. The auction closes prior to the Preds Home Opener on October 5th.

Playoff Recap

THANK YOU for all the support throughout our thrilling and memorable playoff run! Thank you to those who hung "Stand With Us" banners outside their building, donned Preds gear on every gameday, and supported the Foundation through all of our fundraising efforts.

The game night silent auction and Smashcar raised over $250,000 for the Preds Foundation during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
