Josh's 50th Year as a Glass Artist
Two pieces of good news arrived last week. First, the manuscript for our 50th Retrospective book (title TBD), which was submitted to Schiffer Publishing in December, is now in the "editing and development" phase. What does this mean? We don't exactly know... but it sounds like progress. The book's probable release date: Spring 2022.
Second, Schiffer has asked for another book. Really? We need two? Well, yes, because whereas the retrospective book shows the range of beautiful glass Josh has made in the past 50 years, this one will focus on how he works his magic. It will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his innovative techniques, and it might even reveal a few secret formulas. Possible release date? Too soon to say, but at least it's percolating!
