Dear Colleague,
With the month of October nearly half way through, our team is eager to welcome the Diversity Abroad community to Chicago for the Global Inclusion Conference (GIC), our 11th annual conference. This year we will also be welcoming our Global Student Leadership Summit (GSLS) participants in person after three years of virtual programming. Both GIC23 and GSLS promise opportunities for learning, community building, critical conversations, collaboration, and more.
Even as we prepare to convene in Chicago, we recognize our communities and members that may be responding to current global crises affecting students, scholars, staff, and their families. We are reminded of the continuing importance of global learning, international cooperation, and cultural understanding now and in the future.
