ACHIEVEMENTS
Richard Hsiao, Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science, and Rachel Johnson, IUP swimmer and hospitality management major, were named to the new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Social Justice Task Force. The group will help the conference with diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Several Economics Honors Track graduates and professor James Jozefowicz contributed to a recently released book, Applied Econometric Analysis: Emerging Research and Opportunities, coedited by professor Yaya Sissoko.
Matthew Nice, Counseling Department, is the first author on “School Counselors’ Self-Efficacy in Knowledge of the College Process,” recently published in Professional School Counseling.
The Economics Department announced the awarding of six scholarships for the 2020–21 academic year, thanks to the generosity of alumni, faculty and staff members, and friends.
The department congratulates its fall Provost Scholars, its December graduates, and a faculty member who earned his PhD in December.
