Snow in the forecast? 'Sno' worries with these handy care tips!
Is snow not usually in your mix of winter weather? You just never know what winter will bring nowadays, from warm and sunny days to snow drifts. While many Encore varieties are wonderfully cold-hardy, unexpected snowfalls and a lack of preparation for the white stuff can cause damage unless a few steps are taken.

Don’t get caught with your guard down when the temperatures drop! Follow our four tips to help your azaleas make it through anything from a dusting to Snowmaggedon.
If the forecast shows...

...just a dusting: Don’t sweat it—azaleas can take a thin layer of snow. In fact, it’s insulating!

...more than a little: Take a broom to it. Just carefully knock of the few inches that accumulate on your azaleas broad leaves and branches.

...a walloping by the white stuff: If a big snowstorm is predicted, all that snow may break some branches.

Learn how to avoid breakage and find out what our final tip is here.
