One-Credit Electives
Registering After Add/Drop
The Add/Drop deadline for the January term is January 4th, and the Spring term deadline is February 3rd. However, students can still enroll in one-credit electives after the Add/Drop period has ended as long as the elective meets the following two requirements:
It is still open (there is space in the class)
It has not yet begun (the first class meeting has not occurred yet)
Withdrawals and Refunds
Students must attend every hour of one-credit electives. However, students can still withdraw and get a full refund and no W (withdrawal) grade up until 24 hours after the first class session.
After the 24-hour deadline, withdrawal will not be possible unless a student has an excused absence. In this case, they should contact the Enrollment Services Office and their Academic Advisor as soon as possible.
