Earlier this week, we shared an update video from IAR General Counsel Richelle Cohen Mossler on business practice changes after the August 17th deadline, though the vast majority of members were already working under new MLS rules well before the 17th.

We want to highlight and encourage you to share this with your associations and brokerages to also call attention to the other portion of Richelle’s message – a reminder that August 17th also marks the earliest distribution of settlement class notices for the NAR lawsuits.

It’s very important that members do not provide advice or opinions to consumers on the class notice, but rather direct them to the settlement website on the postcard (www.RealEstateCommissionLitigation.com), the settlement administrator at 888-995-0207 or their own legal counsel.
