PSU Theater Arts presents: Spring Awakening |
Spring Awakening is a riveting rock musical that captures the desires, pain, excitement, and confusion of adolescence. Set in a rigid and repressive society, it follows a group of teenagers as they navigate the treacherous terrain of growing up – confronting sex, pregnancy, love, loss and the suffocating pressures of school and family. The ferocious alt-rock score by Duncan Sheik is expertly performed by PSU vocalists and driven by a live on-stage band. The show runs from February 26 to March 7. Students can log in to the PSU tickets page with their credentials to access the five dollar ticket price. Â

Are worries and stressors looming? |
Did you know the Rec Center has light therapy lamps in the second floor lounge? During the short and dark winter months, students can begin to feel the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Light therapy lamps provide exposure to artificial lights during times of reduced sunshine. As little as 20 minutes of exposure can improve sleep, mood, energy levels and focus. Visit the Rec Center and study, read, eat a snack or visit with friends while receiving the benefits of light therapy lamps!
