Friend,
As Spring Break wraps up, we hope your student has enjoyed a well-deserved break. Classes will resume on Monday, March 16, as the campus community returns for the final stretch of the semester.
For families of seniors, this season brings a meaningful number of “lasts” as they approach Commencement in May. Parents of first-year students may be amazed at how quickly this first year has flown by, while sophomores and juniors have completed another year in their academic journey, continuing to gain confidence, clarity, and momentum as they prepare for what comes next.
We’re grateful for your continued partnership as your student moves toward the next chapter.

Senior: Thesis Deadline
The Senior Thesis represents the culmination of a Haverford student’s academic experience and is one of the most important and rewarding ways that Haverford realizes its educational mission. After months of research, writing, and close collaboration with faculty mentors, seniors will submit the final draft of their theses on April 2 at 4:00 p.m. As they navigate these final weeks leading up to the deadline, we hope you’ll take a moment to celebrate this extraordinary achievement alongside your student.
