One key way, says Cindy Wang Brandt, is by learning to raise our children with justice, mercy, and kindness.
Starting November 6, join other parents of teenagers in this amazing 3-week workshop, and build community while the youth are in worship!

A YOUTH AT ST. LUKE'S SERVES
This past Sunday night was definitely a HIGHPOINT with our High School Youth who took time during a normal Sunday evening to help Missions sort and bag shelf-stable food items for the monthly food distribution at Maxey Elementary and had fun doing it!
This food distribution supports 120 households from Maxey in East Winter Garden. St. Luke’s was asked earlier this year to help bridge the food supply chain gap following the pandemic as well as assist families struggling with the current rise in food prices. The food distribution bags also include nutrition information and other resources from which the families may benefit. Several people lend a hand to make this a successful initiative. We are grateful to our regular food distribution volunteers who make the complicated logistics seem easy and now to our Youth who are making the process of sorting and bagging smoother!
WEEKLY YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAMMING
We invite youth (6th - 12th grade) to come home, and be a part of our weekly youth ministry programming here at St. Luke’s! We are excited to connect and engage with our youth and our adult leaders in Community, Worship, and Grade Groups. We want you to come and take part in all God is doing here as we continue to create a Christ-Centered group for middle and high school students where You Belong to Beloved Community, You Grow to Awaken Disciples, and You Serve to Reveal The Kingdom.
EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT (6:00PM - 8:00PM), our High School Youth are welcome to join us in The Youth Center for Sunday Night HIGHPOINT (Youth Ministry Programming for High Schoolers)

HIGHPOINT will be all about real connection, thought-provoking messages, and deep discussion (split by Grade Groups and led by our team of Adult Leaders).

Please note: While High School programming is on Sunday nights, High School students wishing to attend on Wednesdays will have the opportunity to help lead younger kids over in The Treehouse & youth in their small groups and rotations. Wednesdays 6:00PM - 8:00PM we want to welcome our Middle School Youth to join us for Wednesday Night MIDPOINT (Youth Ministry Programming for Middle Schoolers)

After Wednesday Night Dinner... Check-In at 6:00PM in The Youth Center for MIDPOINT which will be a time for connection, high-energy games, a message, and discussion (split by Grade Groups and led by our team of Adult Leaders).

Wednesday Night Dinner starts at 5:00PM in The Welcome Hall (located in Building C)

Each week (August-May) after a time of connection and worship, we will break off into Grade Groups. There, we will have fun and dive deep as we engage in relevant discussions about faith and how it impacts our lives and those around us.
Our amazing team of adult leaders plays a vital part in the ministry we get to do here, as we strive for authentic relationships and connect with our youth, leading to real “Be 1 of 5” discipleship and giving our students a sense of belonging.
If you’d like to be a Grade Group Leader, a Connect Host, a High School Life Group Leader (our newest opportunity to serve and connect with our youth), or another youth ministry volunteer opportunity, don't hesitate to get in touch with Brandon at bsangster@st.lukes.org. Now is the perfect time to jump in!
THIS FALL
High School Life Groups is something new we are starting this year and looking for leaders to connect with a group of high schoolers on a weekly basis outside of HIGHPOINT (our normal youth group time). These groups will be/form various affinity-based communities and held in The Youth Center or a fitting public place. These groups will meet with a couple of adult leaders weekly for connection and discussion over some fun commonality — again, think youth affinity group. The leaders will schedule the day and time for their group.

More info on High School Life Groups will be shared as groups have leaders and are formed.
