Maj. (Ret.) Claybourne S. Magee II '67

The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Maj. (Ret.) Claybourne S. Magee II, CS-23, Class of 1967. Maj. Magee passed away on July 18, 2026, in Wildwood, Missouri.

An Interment Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21, 2026, at the USAFA Cemetery, 3026 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado.

A Celebration of Life was held on Aug. 7, 2026, at the Family Center at Schrader Funeral Home, Ballwin, Missouri. A Funeral Mass was held on Aug. 8, 2026, at the St. Alban Roe Catholic Church, Wildwood, Missouri.

His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Catholic Medical Mission Board or Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Condolences may be left online with his obituary.
