May 2020 Presidents’ Installation This year’s Presidents’ Installation was held virtually and can be viewed online here as the gavel was passed from Dr. Frank Burns to Dr. Monalisa Tailor. Thank you, Dr. Burns, for a great year, and we look forward to another year of success under Dr. Tailor’s leadership.  Spear Essay Contest Winners Congratulations to Dr. David Dageforde and Dr. Joseph Snider, this year’s winners of the Richard Spear, MD, Memorial Essay Contest. Their topic was “Empowering Physicians to Inspire.” The winning photo essays will be printed in the July edition of Louisville Medicine.  GLMS Foundation is hard at work planning and preparing for our 10th Annual Doctor’s Cup. This event is taking place as we follow the CDC’s and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s guidelines for safety and social distancing during COVID-19.
