Sprintax Tax WebinarsGet an overview of tax for nonresident students and scholars, including who must file a 2020 US tax return, what income forms students/scholars may receive, and forms that need to be completed and sent to the IRS. Learn terms like FICA, ITIN and Form 1098-T, what happens if students don’t file, or misfile, details on state tax returns, IRS stimulus payments and how to use Sprintax to file your nonresident tax paperwork. OPT Application Review Sessions Review Your Complete OPT Application Before Sending it to the Government
Once you've received your new OPT I-20 and your application is ready to send, you should attend this OPT application review session where an OGS advisor will go over all OPT application documents in detail, and you can make sure your documents meet the application guidelines. We've also got a recorded session to sit in on if the timings don't work for your schedule.

OPT Workshop Learn Eligibility Requirements, How to Apply, and More
This workshop is designed to give you a firm understanding of what OPT is (it's a form of work authorization for students in F-1 status), how to apply for OPT, the processing timeline, what documents you’ll need, travel advice, and reporting requirements. We also briefly cover tax, health insurance, and OPT extensions.

Student Voice Series SurveyThe goals of the Student Voice Series are to better understand the obstacles our students may be facing and then help them navigate and find timely support. All enrolled bachelor’s degree-seeking, undergraduate students whose home school is the New York campus will be invited to take the surveys. Even if a student is participating in the Go Local program or taking remote courses in another location, they will still be invited to take the surveys. Leadership Essentials: An Online SeriesGain key leadership skills on your time and at your pace with Leadership Essentials: An Online Series! Each learning module takes about 60 minutes to complete including watching all videos, completing the worksheets and the evaluation. Participants who complete all three learning modules will earn a certificate of completion from the NYU Leadership Initiative.

US Naval Academy Virtual Foreign Affairs Conference
Debate foreign affairs and represent your country at one of the premier student foreign affairs conferences in the country! The 61st Annual Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference (NAFAC) allows students to virtually engage with future civil and military leaders at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. This year’s conference will take place from April 6th-8th and explore the topic, “Global Resilience after the Pandemic.”
