We honored our commitment to address health disparities and launched the new MISHC Health Disparities Dashboard. The dashboard provides summaries of measures related to structural heart procedures that can be stratified by demographics such as race, age, geography, and more. It allows users to compare data across the state and will help identify areas to improve inequality for cardiovascular patients in Michigan.
Thank you for joining us at our in-person coordinator and collaborative meetings in Kalamazoo. We hope you found them valuable. As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas about how we can better support you and welcome you to present your struggles and successes so we can participate in shared learning.
Your commitment to patients across Michigan is outstanding and we thank you for your partnership.

MISHC is a collaboration between the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons (MSTCVS) and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Cardiovascular Consortium (BMC2). Support for MISHC is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program.
Although Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and MISHC work collaboratively, the opinions, beliefs and viewpoints expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints of BCBSM or any of its employees. Further, BCBSM does not have access to MISHC data, and all patient episodes occurring at engaged hospitals are included in the data registries, regardless of payer.
