New Short Activity: Preventing Peer-to-Peer Abuse |
With more kids in your programs this summer, the threat of peer-to-peer abuse increases. To support you in making peer-to-peer abuse prevention a priority, we’ve prepared a short activity for you to use at your next staff meeting. This activity will ask staff to identify locations where this type of abuse may occur and how they can better supervise these locations.

Scenario for Discussion: Counselors’ Role Around the Water |
Counselors are a critical layer of protection when around pools and waterfronts. It’s important that they are clear about their role and responsibilities, and understand how they can support the lifeguards on duty. At your next staff meeting, we encourage you to use our scenario that focuses on the role of counselors in keeping swimmers safe. After, share our one-pager to help reinforce the counselor's role.
