Dear Traveller:

The signs are pretty much everywhere—green leaves, warm days, flowers, birds, even the occasional butterfly—spring is definitely springing and probably will have gone and sprung even more convincingly by the time I next hit the trail. Spring in Transylvania County is a particularly beautiful season. And mild, sunny afternoons are a great time for exploration, both in Brevard and just outside of it, because you can occasionally catch an advance taste of summer and feel like you’ve been let in on a really good secret.

For those pioneers interested in exploring the cutting edge of the coming season, April serves up plenty of chances to check out the best of Transylvania County. Summer is really only a few weeks away. There’s no better time to start planning your adventure. No foolin’.

Springfully Yours,

The Adventurist
