Virtual Fitness Club
Registration is now open for this Virtual Fitness Club! Youth in grades 3-6 can participate in this beginner club. Registration is free and open in 4HOnline through the events tab.

2021 Project Kit Pick Up- Family Learning Day, Cloverbud, and Goat Milk Bath Kits

Project kit pick-up will be Sunday, March 7 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at UW-Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus- 400 University Drive, Fond du Lac.

How it works:
Arrive on the day of pick-up at UW-Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus, you will not need to get out of your car. We will have a “drive-thru”. Please use the circle drive at the main building entrance. Please write your family name on a piece of paper and hold it up as you approach the circle at the main building entrance. A 4-H Volunteer or 4-H youth, wearing a mask, will come out with your kit and place it in your trunk for contactless delivery. Be mindful that depending on the kits you ordered, supplies may be breakable, so handle them with care when you arrive home.
Sign-Up for your time slot:
Please use the sign up genius form to select a pick-up time on Sunday, March 7. This is the only organized pick-up that is being offered outside Extension Office hours. Here is the sign-up genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4EAFA728A2FFC25-family. This sign-up is protected by an access code. When prompted, enter the code "4-H" for access. If you cannot make any of the time slots listed, please contact the Extension Office at (920) 929-3170 to schedule an alternative pick up Monday- Friday 8 am-4:30 pm.

Volunteers in Preparation Training!

New Adult Volunteers are welcome and essential to the 4-H program! 4-H is proud of being a proactive, youth-serving organization with an excellent reputation for providing a healthy and safe environment for its members. The volunteer orientation process assures the quality of the program.

For any adults in need of a Volunteer In Prep Training (VIP), there are several upcoming virtual training options to fit your schedule! THE next VIP will be Tuesday, March 23 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

This training will be held virtually via Zoom. A minimum of 5 participants will be required for the training to be held. Registration is required three days before the date of the session. If the minimum is not reached, you will be notified two days before the training.

Fond du Lac County Fair Board Annual Meeting

The Fond du Lac County Fair Board would like to invite you to the Annual Meeting. Typically, this meeting is held in late fall following the fair. However, due to these unprecedented times, the Board decided to postpone the meeting for a few months. Please join us via zoom on
March 9 at 6:00 pm for a recap of the 2020 Fond du Lac County Fair. Please RSVP to Bridget Schaumberg, if you are able to attend. A zoom link will be sent to those that are able to attend by Monday, March 8.

Fond du Lac County is looking for its next Fairest of the Fair! Do you love the Fair and want to serve as the Fair's public spokesperson for the next year? Here's your chance!

Conversation Corner: Spring Programming

Join the Conversation! Join us each month for a different Conversation Corner topic! Club and project leaders (youth and adult) from Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties are invited to join these one-hour (optional) Zooms. These conversations are an opportunity for leaders to ask the Educators questions, brainstorm with other leaders, and share ideas!

We will cover what the new guidance is for April 1-June 1 for programming. We highly encourage project leaders and general leaders to attend! Zoom information will be sent a few days before the session. A minimum of 5 participants is required to hold the session. If the minimum number is not reached, participants will be contacted prior to the session.

Youth Sought to Showcase Their
Livestock Lessons

Round 2 of the Wisconsin Livestock Lessons will include many ways for youth to show their work and interests.
For grades 3-8: (only one submission per category)

2.  Written Public Service Announcement (PSA)
For grades 9-13: (only one submission per category)

Submissions are due March 5. The top entries in each division will receive monetary awards and may be featured on Wisconsin Youth Livestock Program social media, YouTube channels, and other media outlets.

Wisconsin 4-H members are invited to join Dr. Casie Bass and Kitty. Through a series of 6 pre-recorded videos, each followed by a live Q&A Zoom session, participants will learn how a broodmare progresses through the late months of pregnancy. This is the first of the videos where you will meet and learn more about Kitty. To participate in the Live Q&A Zoom sessions you must register here. Anyone 13 yrs of age or younger must be registered by a parent or guardian.

Cloverbud Visual Art
Project Kits

We are excited to invite youth in grades K -2 the opportunity to pick up two FREE small art project kits as a part of the Tri-County
4-H Visual Arts Festival! This is open to the first 150 youth, so sign-up today

The two art project kits have been chosen (and assembled) by the youth committee members to align with the theme of this year's Visual Arts Festival: Nature in Art. 
Youth can then complete their art project kits at home and then show off their final creations at an optional Zoom on the evening of Saturday, March 13.

  • Sunday, March 7 (between the hours of 2-4 pm during Family Learning Day Pick-Up) at UW Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus (400 University Drive, Fond du Lac)
