Back to School Planning
Dear St. Michael's Families,
I hope this note finds you and your family enjoying some summertime fun with each other and loved ones. With the calendar turned to August, I wanted to reach out to make sure that you have everything you will need whenever your mind begins to think about Back to School time. All around campus, faculty, staff, and friends of the School have been busily working to prepare for the 2019–20 school year.
Below please find important updates and information. Please note that several more communications will be sent out in August for fall sports, co-curricular and hot lunch registration, as well as first week of school info, carpool instructions and more, so please stay tuned to your email.
As always, the folks in the School office are here to help. If you have questions, please reach out at 804-272-3514.  We look forward to seeing you in late August!

With warm regards,
Bob Gregg
Head of School

Hot Lunch
St M offers families the opportunity to purchase hot lunch.  We are happy to announce we are partnering with a NEW lunch service this year called Yay Lunch, which will offer food selections from vendors such as: Baker's Crust, Jason's Deli, Frank's Ristorante, Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe, and Ellwood Thompson's.  Chick-Fil-A is not part of the lunch program this year as we have found a healthy alternative in the Baker's Crust baked chicken strips. Due to declining interest, milk will also not be offered this year.

Parents and faculty can register on Yay Lunch anytime during the school year. Ordering is weekly and is "open" from Sunday until Saturday night for the following week. Parents can place orders each week, skip any weeks, and place orders up to 4 weeks in advance.

Hot Lunch will begin the week of SEPTEMBER 9.

A separate email will arrive later in August with further details on the program, as well as details on signing up at https://yaylunch.com. Stay tuned!
