GW Short-Term Abroad Programs-Belize 
Deadline: Tuesday, October 31 

This short-term, winter break course provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in a multi-disciplinary short-term instructional Study Abroad experience.  The course is rich in research, environmental, and cultural content. Located in the vibrant and diverse ecosystems of Belize, the course facilitates structured observation, reflection, and synthesis of experiential learning coupled with the exploration of the indigenous Mayan and Garifuna cultures. The curriculum encourages students to understand the relationship between the field experience and their career goals. GW Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund (KACIF) Travel Grants 

Deadline: Rolling (based on funding)   

The Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund (KACIF) Travel Grant is available to students who are participating in unpaid internships that will advance their career development and who need assistance in paying for their public transportation to and from the internship location. The grant was initiated in collaboration with the Student Association and made possible through the generous support of alumni, parents and other donors.
