And we're back!
And we're back!
What is your name?
Elan Fox, ESIA '21

Where was your volunteer post?
AIESEC, Mexico City
What were your major tasks or projects?
I worked everyday at an orphanage in the city center and taught Mexican youth about health, nutrition and how to combat obesity. We focused on the importance of exercise, how to identify healthy vs. unhealthy foods and understanding how junk food and soda affect one's body.
How has the experience influenced your career path?
Seeing small-scale development happen and being the driving force behind it inspired me to declare International Development as my major. Moreover, working with volunteers from all over Latin America expanded my understanding of the world and of this hemisphere specifically.
