Xiomara

Xiomara’s paralyzed son was mostly confined to his bedroom for the last three years. All that will change when she closes on her new, accessible Habitat house this month. “I tell William every day: Soon we’ll be at our house. You’re not going to just live in your bedroom anymore,” Xiomara said.

Supporter Spotlight: Orlando Magic

A magical key ceremony for Donya

Thanks to the Orlando Magic, who celebrated one of our newest families in Silver Pines Pointe last month: new homeowner Donya and her three children. They enjoyed meeting "Stuff the Magic Dragon" and ambassador Bo Outlaw. This is the 13th consecutive season that the Orlando Magic has partnered with us to sponsor a home. We’re so grateful for their support!

They're building Habitat houses!

Walker & Company and Jack Jennings & Sons are excited about building Habitat houses at our Builders Blitz event in February! During this five-day event, they’ll join other local builders in constructing homes for hardworking Central Floridians. This is their 5th and 4th years donating the cost and labor of a house, and we are so thankful.

Thanks to two Board veterans

A huge thank you to Jason Schrago and Rhonda Rhodes for their eight years of dedicated service on the Habitat Orlando & Osceola Board of Directors. Jason served on our finance committee and Rhonda was on our executive committee. It's volunteers like them who help us continue to strengthen our impact in our community.
