Every semester, our Thank an Instructor program collects notes from students and alumni. We congratulate Adam Follmer on receiving a note. Adam is making waves by helping UWM students learn in his role as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Read one of the Spring student notes for Adam below.

Professor Follmer, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for me and for all of us throughout this program. Your support, kindness, and understanding have meant more than you probably know. You have always made me feel like you truly cared about us, not just as students, but as real people with lives, stress, and personal things going on outside of school. That is something I will always remember and appreciate. I also really want to thank you for the way you taught us with realistic expectations. You pushed us to learn and grow, but never in a way that felt impossible or disconnected from real life. Your classes and your support helped me feel more prepared for my future career, and also more confident in myself as a future professional. I will genuinely remember you forever. You have made such a positive impact on my time in this program, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from you. Thank you for your patience, your care, your humor, your understanding, and for being someone who made this program feel a little more manageable and meaningful.
