Hello Upper School Families,
It is with great excitement we are announcing that we are having a Talent Show this year!  The Talent Show will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

As we are all aware, COVID-19 restrictions will make this year's Talent Show look a little different.
1.) The Talent Show will be virtual.  Students will perform from the music room.  The performance will be broadcast live into classrooms on the Vanguard Campus.    Because of legal restrictions, this broadcast will only be available to Vanguard classrooms.
2.) Due to technology restrictions, all performances will need to be live.  Virtual students wishing to perform may make arrangements with the music teachers to come to campus to perform, if they so choose.  Parents will need to provide transportation to school, wait in the car during their performance and take students home immediately following their performance.
3.) In order to accommodate as many performances as possible, each performance will need to be no longer than 3 minutes.
4.) Rehearsals will be on May 26, 2021 and June 7, 2021.  Virtual students should contact the music teachers concerning these rehearsals.
5.) If a student has not prepared for their performance by the June 7 rehearsal, he or she may not be able to perform in the broadcasted Talent Show.
6.) Students may perform as a solo act or in a group from their homeroom.  No exceptions.
7.) Please give us your song selection by May 21, 2021.
8.) Song selection will need to be school-appropriate.  All songs will need to be approved by the music teachers.

We are very excited to allow our students a chance to share their musical talents with their peers.
