Give Thanks

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Being thankful often goes against our natural inclinations. If we make a conscious decision to do what God tells us, we begin to see people in a new perspective, which results in having an easier time being thankful.

So thankful for each of you!                     ~Yolanda Heuser, Tennessee WMU President

Missions Legacy
Jewell Jennings, former Tennessee WMU President, 1976-1979, passed away on October 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. Jewell was a great WMU leader in the church, association, and state. She was a steadfast promoter of missions discipleship and involvement. Her smile was genuine and her joy contagious

Week of Prayer for International Missions

Suggested Dates: November 28-December 5

Together, we can bring help and hope to a hurting world.
Together, we will advance the kingdom of God.
Together, we are on a mission for the nations.
Together, we can make a kingdom impact.
What will be yours?

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. Named for Lottie Moon in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union, it honors the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially. Unique from other mission offerings, 100% of the gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. Together we can reach the nations with the gospel fulfilling the vision of a multitude from every language, people, tribe, and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9). For more information and resources, visit www.imb.org/lottie-moon.

Standing orders for LMCO materials are being shipped from the Tennessee WMU office. If you need to order materials for the week of prayer, please contact Jacki Holleman at jholleman@tnbaptist.org or call 615-317-2038
