The Rutherford County Class of 2018 Needs You!


tnAchieves is currently recruitng 460 mentors to support our TN Promise students. As a mentor, you'll invest 10-15 hours annually assisting 5-10 high school seniors. The mentor role is simple but significant. tnAchieves designed its mentoring program so even the busiest executive, parent, or young professional can make a meaningful impact. No experience is needed, and training will be provided.


STEPS FOR BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL MENTOR


Step 1 - Complete an Application
Step 2 - Choose a preferred high school
Step 3 - Complete a one-hour train session
Step 4 - Attend 2 one-hour training sessions
Step 5 - Communicate with students every two weeks via email, phone or text as they transition from high school to college
