Blessing for the New School Year. As a new semester begins, the Office of Spiritual Life offers a Blessing for a New School Year—crafted for personal or group prayer. Rooted in Baylor’s motto: Pro Ecclesia, Pro Texana, Pro Mundo, it’s a meaningful way to reflect, worship, and set intentions. 🙏💚

Move2BU – What can be said about MOVE2BU? We think that one mom on Instagram summed it up pretty well: "The move-in process at Baylor is the best! I have 2 other college kids, and this was the most efficient and organized!" For those more concerned with the cold hard stats -- Collins Hall was finished by 11:30…AM! Huge thanks to all the Baylor Student Life staff who stepped in to support wherever there was a need and not only managed with aplomb but greeted oso many families as well (bear pun intended). And we can't go without recognizing the massive efforts by our CL&L team whose organization led to an amazing move-in.

Welcome Week – As you receive this, we just wrapped up Welcome Week. More than 3,500 new students were welcomed into the Baylor Family and acclimated to their new home through the events of the past week. From the first night praise and worship to the last night of collective prayer, our newest Bears are set up for success this year! Additional thanks to the New Student Programs team and all who helped make WW a success!
|
- San Angelo BearAid Trip – Kudos to Molly Simpson for leading the San Angelo BearAid Trip after the July 4 floods—compassionate, organized, and always smiling as she guided 25 Baylor volunteers to serve with Texans on Mission. Her heart for service made a lasting impact!

The Baylor University Pharmacy – Well done passing a surprise State Board inspection with flying colors! The inspector praised the team’s excellence across all areas. Congrats to Pam Kilgore, Scott Alexander, Stacy Vlam, and Jessica Smith on their hard work.

Fun/Interesting Fact: “I enjoy watching movies – rom-coms are my favorite, sudoku, taking walks by the river and I love cooking for my family.”
What are you looking forward to most about working at Baylor? “During the first meeting I attended, the first thing that happened was prayer. It was my first time ever in a work environment that I not only saw this but got to participate in and was asked if I had any prayer requests. It was such a welcome surprise, and I love it.”
