Psalm 34:4-5
I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
    he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
    their faces are never covered with shame.

New International Version (NIV)
               In God’s presence we exchange our problems for his perfect provision.  What do we seek with all of our hearts today?  The Psalmist sought the Lord.  God was not busy when the psalmist called.  “He answered me.”  Not only does God answer but he delivers from all of our fears.  One friend confided in me this week that she struggled with a fear of heights.  What do we fear?  Bring it into the presence of our omnipotent God.
               Have you ever known anyone who was radiant? Perhaps they had spent so much time with Jesus that like Moses on the mountain, they took on the glow.  Are we looking to the Lord today?  God will remove all of our shame if we will look to him.  Our faces need never be covered with shame.  We are covered in Christ, inside out!
Pray with me:
Father, you know the list of our fears.  Would you vanquish them for us in the victorious name of your Son.  What will we do with all of our shame for our many failures?  We bring it to you so that you may irradiate it in the lamp of your love.  No need to fear, no cause for shame.  We seek you.  Thank you for answering and delivering from all fears and shame.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
