Rosendale 4-H Meeting- June 2025Submitted by Reporter, Eli Curtis
The Rosendale 4-H club met on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church.
We started the meeting with the pledges. Then, we had the Secretary’s and Treasurer's report. For old business, members turned in their 4-H raffle tickets. The Derksen family will put together the silent auction basket.
For new business, our club is signed up to work at the Adult Leader’s food stand from 4:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Ashley e-mailed the sign up list to everyone, so please sign up for a time slot. We were thinking about doing a club potted display for the fair. Fair entries are now open and are due on June 17th. Pre fair judging is Thursday, July 10th and Tuesday, July 15th. There are two chances to attend a mandatory Market Livestock pre fair meeting, which are on Sunday, July 13, at 1:00 p.m. or Tuesday, July 15, at 3:00 p.m.
After the meeting, we made dirt cakes for our dads.
Our next meeting will be our club tour on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Please email Ashley Curtis if you want us to come to your home to show off your animals or projects. You may also bring a project to the meeting to show off to our members.

FDL Dairy Project InformationDairy ID information is due when your fair entries are due, June 17! Each animal that you enter must have a Dairy ID on file for our records. We also use this information to create the showbook for the fair.
Dairy ID Google Form Link: go.wisc.edu/89a685
As a reminder, all members of the dairy project must either complete a showmanship workshop or compete in a showmanship contest (and provide proof) at either a district Holstein show, a local breed show, World Dairy Expo or an FFA or 4H judging contest where showmanship is also being judged. For those who cannot complete their showmanship requirement this way, you may complete the questionnaire below.
