Approximately 2,000 students are set to earn bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Clemson University in December. The doctoral hooding will occur at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Commencement for bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates will take place across three ceremonies on Thursday, Dec. 21, in Littlejohn Coliseum.

The westbound lane of Fort Hill Street between Service Drive and Williamson Road will close periodically from Friday, December 22, through Tuesday, January 2, while crews replace the sidewalk near the Scroll of Honor. Personnel will be onsite flagging traffic during the closure.

Employees enrolled in the State Vision Plan have access to a $150 annual allowance for glasses frames or a $130 allowance for contact lenses (in place of frames) each calendar year. Make sure you use these allowances before December 31, 2023. Contact EyeMed (877-735-9314) to learn more or find an in-network eye doctor. The state vision plan utilizes the “Select” network.
