| NO SCHOOL On Thursday
A friendly reminder that no classes will be held this Thursday, September 26, as this is a Faculty Professional Development Day.
Need Childcare for Grades K-6 on that day?
Join St M for an all-day enrichment experience hosted by Pro Skills, Mad Science, and Martial Arts World from 9 a.m.-3:55 p.m. This event promises a variety of activities, including sports, karate, an obstacle course, a Halloween-themed science show, and an interactive static electricity exhibit, ensuring a day filled with structured fun and social interaction among peers. Cost is $160, lunch included.

Please Slow DownAs our campus is in a residential neighborhood, St M asks for everyone's help with an important safety matter.
The newly paved neighborhood roads around campus are leading to increased driving speeds. The posted speed limit in the neighborhood is 25 miles per hour, dropping to 10 mph around some of the curves. But even those speed limits can feel high if you are approaching a pedestrian exercising, walking a dog, or pushing a stroller-- especially given that the neighborhood roads are narrow and without sidewalks.
We know that getting children to and from school can be hectic for parents. However, it is extremely important that we all slow down significantly and safely share the approaching roads to St. Michael's with our neighbors and yield to pedestrians and homeowners who are trying to exit their driveways.
We share the concern of our neighbors and encourage you to consider your child(ren)'s safety and the safety of others when you are dropping off and picking up from the School.

Celebrate Reading with the St M Birthday Book Club
Welcome to the St M Birthday Book Club! This treasured St. Michael’s tradition enables students to learn the joy of giving as well as receiving and encourages a lifelong appreciation of books and reading. Here’s how it works:
On or near their birthday, Birthday Book Club members will choose a book from an age-appropriate selection curated by their librarian. This book will live forever in the St. Michael's library collection for the enjoyment of our whole St M community. Their gift will be recognized by a bookplate in the front of the book, featuring their name, birthday, and the year the gift was given. Book Club members will be the first to check out their birthday book, and will also be recognized during their library class and in a special Birthday Book display in the library.
The Birthday Book Club membership fee is $15. Thank you for supporting this celebration of reading, generosity, and community!
