MEET OUR NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR
David Darragh joins Team Gleason as Managing Director, overseeing day-to-day operations and optimizing organizational structures. After a tenured career leading food manufacturing and marketing companies, David felt the call to pivot to a more mission-driven organization.
David feels energized while working closely with and supporting the growth of his team members. He is excited by the bold goals of Team Gleason and the work they do to empower those living with ALS.

MEET THE NEWEST TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT TEAM MEMBERS
Inspired by Steve’s story and the work Team Gleason does, Mollie is thrilled to join Team Gleason as a Technology and Equipment Associate. With previous experience as a certified nursing assistant and as a caregiver, Mollie is passionate about working each day to ease the stress of people living with ALS and their families.
“I’ve witnessed first hand people struggling to live productive and independent lives because of the lack of resources provided to them. The programs Team Gleason provides for people living with ALS are exceptional.”
Mollie is excited to expand her knowledge of accessible solutions and looks forward to forming lifelong connections within the foundation.
Mary’s experience as a special education teacher led her to develop a deep interest in promoting accessibility for others. Working with students with limited verbal communication and motor skills helped guide her to her role as a Technology and Equipment Associate.
Building relationships with the ALS community is important to Mary. She enjoys assisting those living with ALS and their caregivers, especially learning and understanding their unique needs and finding accessible solutions.
Mary believes that everyone has the right to independence, and she is proud that her work with Team Gleason truly enhances the quality of life for others.

SEM AND LUDA' FLORIDA ROAD TRIP
"My husband Sem was diagnosed with ALS in March of 2014. He has lost so much in the last 8 years but this horrible disease cannot take away his spirit! Team Gleason’s motto “No White Flags!” is exactly how Sem approaches things as well!
After he was diagnosed, we decided to live life fully as much as possible. We continue to go on adventures by going on short road trips in our van around California, but due to Sem’s worsening condition we never thought it would be possible to go across the country to visit family in Florida! Sem did not think he would be able to see his aging aunt again but thanks to the incredible generosity of Team Gleason he was able to!"

Never too early to bank your voice

While Don doesn’t need the voice banking yet, knowing that his family is prepared for that moment is an important step they took.

Marcus gets a chance to hug his mom after 9 years
Marcus hasn't seen his mother since before his ALS diagnosis in 2013. All he wanted for the past nine years was to see his mother, who had just turned 93 years old and hug her.
