Helping Hands 4-H Club

At our February meeting the club learned about the importance of pollinators. We learned some fun facts about bees and why native plants are important to grow. To help support our bee population we made bee hotels. We also sowed native wild flower seeds in milk jugs. Members are working on bee hotels in the picture.

Statewide Scholarships

Each year, the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation provides a sum of money to the State 4-H Office for needs-based scholarships for youth to participate in statewide Educational Experiences. Wisconsin 4-H believes that cost should not be a barrier to program participation. Each youth should submit one form per program they are participating in. You can find full information on the scholarship along with the form here: https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/opportunities/statewide-events-and-opportunities/statewide-scholarships/Staff will do their best to assess each request and make a determination on the amount awarded when the scholarships are reviewed. This scholarship fund is available to any youth who is attending one of our Statewide Educational Experiences.
