Women’s Flag Football Coming to IVC in Fall 2024 Irvine Valley's athletic department is proud to announce that the women's flag football program is coming to IVC. Dean of Kinesiology, Health, and Athletics Keith Shackleford says IVC will be the first college in California to sponsor the sport at the varsity level. Off-season training begins March 22 with summer training for incoming freshman starting in July. The inaugural season is expected to kickoff Sept. 2. Rising Scholars Premiere Event Featuring Art, Musical Performances and Inspirational Speakers Join us for this special event featuring art exhibitions, live performances, and inspirational speakers as we introduce IVC's new Rising Scholars program to the campus and community. Rising Scholars is dedicated to transforming the lives of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students by providing equitable access to quality education and resources. The Rising Scholars Premiere Event takes place on Wednesday, January 24 from 11 am to 2 pm at the IVC Performing Arts Center. RSVP »
Winter Food Giving Event Provides Over 520 Meals to Students The last IVC Cares Food Giving event of 2023, took place on December 14. Over 520 meals and 3,700 pantry items were provided to students who attended. See Photos »
Flu Shots Still Available IVC's Health and Wellness Center is offering free flu shots, while supplies last, to currently registered IVC students who have paid their health fee. Flu shots are administered by appointment only (no walk-ins) by calling 949-451-5221 or by emailing ivchealthcenter@ivc.edu.
