February is heart health month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and is often caused by high blood pressure. This February, consider taking your blood pressure and reviewing the following resources on preventing and managing high blood pressure.

Spotlight on the Davis Gallery: Join us to learn about the Davis Gallery and their two upcoming exhibits: Showing Affection and Recent Art Acquisitions. Meghan Jordan, the Clarence A. Davis ’48 Visual Arts Curator, will be leading a talk about the Davis Gallery and its offerings. This is a wonderful chance to learn about HWS’ collections.

Employees enrolled in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) are reminded that there is a grace period until March 15 to incur expenses. During this grace period, you can use 2024 funds. Claims for qualified expenses paid for during the grace period must be submitted by June 15, 2025. The grace period is for the health care FSA only.
