The Mile Marker
Dear RV Friend,
For most RV families, school's out, and countless vacation days stretch ahead. Family togetherness and adventures on the road...what could be better?
This month we encourage RVers, especially those with kids, to unplug during their travels. Enjoy some "old-fashioned" games that don't require a smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device. Yes, it's possible! Here are some printable forms for playing the license plate game, road sign scavenger hunt, tic-tac-toe, and more from TripSavvy.
As you hit the road this summer with the whole family, consider joining FMCA.
Sincerely,
The FMCA Team

Why We Love FMCA
I plugged the FMCA Sprint hotspot device into the USB port on my Roku 3. I have full access to all the channels, and the hotspot stays charged. I watch movies and surf on my phone at the same time. For me, the uncapped, unthrottled, non-contractual plan through FMCA Tech Connect+ is great. The best part, though, is that when we go on a trip and take the hotspot and the Roku in the coach, it's just like home.

Keep the Family Connected
If unplugging from technology on your next RV trip isn't an option, FMCA members have access to a Sprint mobile internet hotspot through FMCA Tech Connect+. The package includes unlimited 3G-4G LTE internet service for $49.99/mo. with no contract.
Tech Connect+ subscribers also have access to discounts on cell boosters, satellite antennas, and more.
How Do I?
Save Money While Having Fun

If you love museums, amusement parks, or other attractions, are you aware of reciprocal admission programs? Do some research ahead of time, and you may reap financial benefits.

The Association of Zoos & Aquariums offers members reciprocal admission at participating facilities in most states and several provinces.

Association of Children’s Museums cardholders receive 50 percent off admission to approximately 200 participating facilities.

Enjoy access to multiple amusement parks, such as those in the Cedar Fair or Six Flags networks.

Various types of America the Beautiful Passes grant access to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Children 15 or under are free.

Call ahead to make sure reciprocal/discounted admission is still offered. Restrictions may apply, e.g., particular locations, special events or tours, or a maximum number of admissions. Parking may be extra.

It's Not Too Late
FMCA hosts two conventions per year. These events feature RV education seminars, an RV expo full of the latest models and products, live music and entertainment, and social activities — not to mention the chance to meet fellow RVers! You do not need to be an FMCA member to attend. Make plans to visit Wanted in Wyoming, July 18 through 21 in Gillette, Wyoming.

Get Rewarded
It's said a true friend can't be measured in gold. FMCA gives its members the chance to make new friends through RV networking opportunities. Attend an area rally or convention. Or join a chapter, a group of FMCA members who share a common interest such as location, hobby, or RV make/model. Members say one of their favorite perks of belonging to FMCA is the opportunity to meet other RVers!

Monkey Bread
RVers Delight
Foil Packet Meals

Keep your cooking simple this summer by turning to a kitchen staple: aluminum foil.

Foil packets can be made ahead of time to toss on the grill or in the campfire. Get the kids involved and make quesadillas or cheesy fries with bacon. Or roast veggies in olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Try this foil-wrapped monkey bread from Cupcake Diaries that's oh-so-easy and family-approved!
