Club Charters- Due October 15th
New Charter F.A.Q. Document and Videos
Thank you to everyone who attended our 4-H Charter Chats. The questions led to great conversation and idea-sharing! Based on our Charter Chats, we have developed a F.A.Q. document for leaders who were not able to attend. Please view this Frequently Asked Questions document here. Please remember that the financial parts of the charter were due by September 15th please be sure to turn them in if you haven’t already.

2. Copy of checkbook registry or Excel document that has all transactions documented
3. Financial report (page 5)
4. Accounts information and financial review/audit (page 6)

1. Charter Annual Renewal Form (pages 1, 2, and 3)
2. Annual 4-H Club or 4-H Group calendar covering October 1 – September 30 (page 4)
3. *Current 4-H Club or 4-H Group Bylaws (now need to be included with the charter each year)**This is a great chance to update them!*

4-H Online 2.0 Registration is Open!The moment everyone has been waiting for is here! Families are able to register in the new system. For step-by-step instructions, please click here.
If you need help, please reach out to us and we can help answer questions! This system is new, so please be patient while enrolling for the 2020-2021 4-H year.

Livestock JudgingWe are happy to announce that registration is open for the 2020 Wisconsin 4-H Virtual Livestock Judging Contest on Sunday, October 18, 2:30-6:00 pm.
Juniors (grades 3-8, age 8-13) and Seniors (grades 9-13, age 14-19) are invited to register as individuals to participate and display their livestock evaluation skills in this competitive educational experience. Youth will judge classes and enter placings through www.LivestockJudging.com. Seniors will present oral reasons via Zoom. Juniors and Seniors will also answer questions for a portion of the classes through Livestockjudging.com.
*With the cancellation of all national 4-H livestock judging contests in 2020, these will be stand-alone, non-qualifying state educational contests.

| National 4-H WeekNational 4-H Week is coming to an end; however, we still will be celebrating 4-H throughout the month of October. Please share with us on Facebook or email what you are doing to celebrate and promote 4-H! This past week there was a State-wide Trivia night, Zoom Townhall Celebration, spirit days, and more! If you missed Tuesday night's celebration, the recording can be viewed!

Virtual Officer Training- SAVE THE DATE- Thursday, October 29, 2020 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. or Tuesday, November 10, 2020 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
All officers and leaders are strongly encouraged to attend! Our 4-H Club/Group Officer Training will be held via Zoom on the evenings of Thursday, October 29, and Tuesday, November 10! Club leaders and officers should save one of these evenings for time together with other Fond du Lac and Area 4-H Members and Leaders. Our agenda will include virtual and face to face team builders that officer teams can lead, introducing the 4-H Movement, and of course break-out sessions for each officer position!

4-H Conversation Corner: OctoberJoin the Conversation! Calling all 4-H Club and Project Leaders!!
Each month we will be offering a different Conversation Corner topic! Club and Project Leaders from Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington County are invited to join these one hour, optional, Zoom meetings. The conversations are an opportunity for leaders to ask questions, brainstorm with other leaders, and share ideas!
Our October topic is the “WI 4-H Movement.” Pick a date and time that works for you. Register now for one of our three sessions! Learn about what your club can do, see what promotional items are available for your clubs to share, learn about what other clubs are doing in Fond du Lac County as well as around the state!
