Week of April 10, 2016
"We love the nurturing learning environment, passionate teachers & staff, strong academics and special families that are unified under      St. Michael's. All of these facets make St M incredibly unique and special!"
-A St. Michael's parent
WE TRULY APPRECIATE THE APPRECIATION!
Thank you to our families and the SMPA for the wonderful Teacher Appreciation treats, luncheon, cards and more. You kept us smiling all week!
A big THANK YOU to all of our Dragons who got in the game and supported the St. Michael's Annual Fund tournament! With a close final score of 57 to 54, the tournament winner was... TEAM BLUE!

We are pleased to share that $11,546 was raised for the School. As a result, Annual Fund parent participation
increased from 37% to 50%. We are very appreciative of your support!

Join Us for "Meetings with Michael" on Growing Up Digital
Our children have never known a world without the internet, mobile phones and social media. As Digital Natives, young people need “training wheels” in the social and educational uses of technology. For many parents, this is scary, unchartered territory.
Please join us for the next installment of "Meetings with Michael" as we explore "Tips and Tools for Parenting Digital Natives."
Date:    Tuesday, April 19
Times:
  • 7:20 a.m. at the Lower School, Dundas Hatcher Hall (free "Open Gym" child care will be provided)
  • 1:30 p.m at the Middle School, Singleton Campus Great Hall

Seventh Grade Families: Come to the Coffee House!

For decades, the local coffee house has served as a cultural destination for a community--  a place where folks gather to engage in fellowship and conversation, share ideas and experience local art, literature and music.

The seventh grade at St. Michael's cordially invites seventh grade families to their Coffee House presentation.

Date:   Wednesday, April 13
Time:   2-2:45 p.m.
Place:  Great Hall, Singleton Campus

Students will share selections of their art and creative writing from their study of the Harlem Renaissance and other units from this school year.  We hope you will join us!
