HURRAH! 2025 Was Incredible! Thank You!

We seem to say this every year, but this may have been the best HURRAH! yet.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation’s fundraiser of the year, HURRAH!, such an amazing night! Once again, we had to cut off ticket sales before the event, as approximately 400 people attended.

Our ‘museum’ enabled us to share the story of what the Foundation and our supporters do for our schools and our students. If you've ever given to the Foundation, the results of your support were on display for everyone to see. With 28 exhibits, student performances, food from local restaurants, and our famous bar offerings, the night was an extraordinary success.

We are eternally grateful for our incredibly generous, supportive community members who value our public schools. Together, we provide opportunity. Thank you!

$5.5 Million for Class of '25

When this year's EGRHS seniors graduate May 22, they'll have more fun things on their mind than what Foundation donors have contributed to their education.

Foundation support for this year's class has been remarkable, though. In programs, classroom enhancement grants, staff professional development, student scholarships, and more, the Foundation, thanks to our donors, contributed more than $5.5 million to this year's class in their years from kindergarten through graduation. For the class of 2025, that funding includes vital school programs saved by EGRNow! as well as the historic support our community gave our schools during the pandemic. This school year alone, the Foundation committed more than $700,000 to our schools.

Thank you, Foundation donors, for providing opportunity to our students! And congratulations to the class of 2025. We're proud to be part of your success.

Save the Date for Midsummer Ice Dream

The third annual Midsummer Ice Dream will offer kids Kona Ice, face painting, sidewalk chalk, and more in the EGRMS parking lot on Wednesday, July 16 from 1-4pm.

The event is a free, fun little thank you from the Foundation to all our incredibly supportive familes. Last year, we gave out 653 cups of Kona Ice to kids!
