Hello Neighbor! “I got nothing.” Not one of my go-to expressions, but after two straight days of quarantine rain, I was living and breathing the sentiment—I was just done, you know? I know that you know.
But the sun was out yesterday, and my husband and daughters and I delivered John’s Hoagies to my siblings in Royersford. We sat in my brother’s backyard in folding chairs, with beloved nieces socially distant on their deck, and we laughed more than we have in a while.
My daughters and I are planning to create Vision Boards today: the idea is likely trending on Tik Tok, but my girls are into it, and why not be a pre-teen? Why not journal hopes and goals for the future, find relating images, and collage-away the day? There is also hair dye coming our way via the US mail, and we will all three partake (perhaps even my husband?). Why not combat the greys with hot pink? Why not.
We’re all trying to figure this out. I’ve seen more families outside playing games together than I ever have: Pickleball, Badminton, Cornhole. My neighbor leaves a basket at the end of her driveway filled with masks she’s sewn, free for the taking. Another friend and her husband have been doing taste-tests—last week brussel sprouts; this week, wings.
I guess what I’m saying is, these days, when I’m questioning, I’ll try to hold on to even the smallest somethings as I’m looking for answers. “I got something.” I do. And so do you.

VOTE! YOU CAN MAIL IT IN State’s primary election postponed from
April 28 until June 2. Recent voting reforms established a new convenient way for Pennsylvanians to vote: mail-in ballots. Similar to an absentee ballot, you may apply to receive a mail-in ballot in the mail to complete, and return to your county election office. However, unlike an absentee ballot, you may simply request a mail-in ballot without providing a reason.
