| Scholarship Deadline Extended! |
Each year, the Maine Legislature recognizes one outstanding student from each county who is currently pursuing-or planning to pursue-post secondary education at a Maine institution. The scholarships awarded are up to $1,000.
The application deadline date has been extended to June 1 for those interested in applying. (So far, nobody from Knox or Waldo County has submitted an application!)

| New Fully Online BIO Course |
Explore the world of fungi this fall semester with BIO 235 ~ Mycology! This course will take a closer look at these fascinating organisms that feed us, heal us, and occasionally outsmart us.
This new fully online, 4-credit lecture/lab will cover fungal diversity, structure, genetics, ecology, and importance to humans, and will explore their roles in human health, biotech, and the environment.

| Online Chemistry with Lab Class |
RSU 13 Adult and Community Education is offering an online chemistry with lab class (at no cost) to support students looking to enroll in health science programs. The fully remote class will run from June 22 to August 14, 2026. All learning materials will be provided by RSU 13 Adult and Community Education.
