The children JMI serves with are orphaned, abandoned, and acutely vulnerable. Many of them have never met their own father. Like 9 year old Calin whose mother passed away when he was only 2 years old, and his father did not want him. Calin describes his worst day as the day when he was left without a mother and found out that his father did not love him.

Or there’s Tatiana, who has never met her father and is unable to live with her mother. She now lives with her aunt. When our team asked her what her dream was, she replied, “my dream is to have a father.” Both Calin and Tatiana are two of many children in our vulnerable child sponsorship program.
