Good Morning WolfieONE Team,
As you may have recently read, Nick Candela has transitioned into a new role as Senior Director, Business Transformation, directly supporting the WolfieONE implementation. As this new role continues to develop, I am writing to inform our WolfieONE leadership teams that in the next few weeks, Nick will begin forming and leading a group dedicated to planning for long-term sustainment after WolfieONE goes live.
Sustainment’s Role in Project Success Sustainment planning is the ability to deliver today and “future-proof” for application management tomorrow, by developing a roadmap, selecting the support model to help system end-users, and clearly defining roles and responsibilities for post go-live support.
Leaders on this new team will discuss and make recommendations with regard to areas that will need support in our future state, and help build an operating model that defines how the support will be structured and how incidents, inquiries and service requests will be addressed to meet key performance indicators and service level agreements. Involvement from all key stakeholders in the sustainment model planning is key to enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction.
Nick and I look forward to working with many of you as we build out our WolfieONE Sustainment Team, and thank you for partnership in ensuring the establishment of a successful support model here at Stony Brook. Please feel free to forward this message to your teams as appropriate.
Sincerely, Lyle P. Gomes Vice President for Finance
