Jackson and Frazier to Serve on National Student Leadership Council
McWhorter School of Pharmacy students Anisha Jackson and Sarah Frazier are both currently serving as members of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Student Leadership Council. The council supports the development of future leaders in community pharmacy by recognizing and encouraging student pharmacists who have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and independent pharmacy. This appointment also provides students the opportunity to advocate for the pharmacy profession in Washington, D.C.
Jackson is serving her second year as a senior council member and was also recently awarded with the Cardinal Health Annual Independent Pharmacy Scholarship recipient. This award provides a full-tuition scholarship for the final year of pharmacy school.
Frazier was recently selected to serve as a junior council member and will also serve a two-year term.
