June 11, 2021Marie's Message
Hi All, Wow, the fair entries are in. This week was a bit crazy at the Extension office. Thanks to Tracy, Laure, Ellen, and all of the general leaders for their work getting everyone’s questions answered.
The financial pages for the Club charters are due later this summer. Club leaders and treasurers can find the information on the charter page at https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/resources/volunteer-resources/administrative/charter/
Since we are not able to do overnight camps at Upham Woods, I have worked with my 4-H colleagues to provide an Upham Woods Neighborhood Camp. Registration is available in 4-HOnline for June 26 or July 10. The program for the day is the same so you would pick the one that works. And as you can see from the pictures below, Upham was able to get some of their new building projects completed, and there are new spaces to use and explore.
In addition, the 4-H Leader's Executive Board will provide financial support for part of the registration and mileage for participation. Please let me know if you have further questions
You may also want to check with local clubs about any support they may want to offer to this opportunity as well.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Marie Witzel 4-H Youth Development Educator marie.witzel@wisc.edu 920-210-3080 I am following Wisconsin Department of Health Services, UW-Madison, and federal guidelines due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. I am working remotely and am also available by phone at 920-210-3080.
