In an effort to continually improve the student experience, we encourage students to complete this year's Student Services Survey. You should have received a link to the survey through your uwplatt.edu email account on Aug. 31. All responses should be submitted by Sept. 15. If you should have any questions, please contact our Student Services coordinator at wubbenli@uwplatt.edu.

Use of force the focus of upcoming policing conference

The community’s view of police use of force seems to be at a boiling point on the national level. This issue will take precedence at the second annual 21st Century Policing Conference at UW-Platteville on Friday, September 16.
Join Master of Science in Criminal Justice alumnus Jason King, instructor Pat Solar, and their fellow presenters in a day-long discussion of force, community engagement, and other important issues. This is a free event for all UW-Platteville students.

Support of family, employer guide engineering student's success

Throughout his 20-year career with the Navy, Cleveland Daniels has worked on everything from gas turbines to advanced electrical work. Although he is a senior member of his team and recognized as an experienced leader, Daniels said he lacked the on-paper credentials to continue advancing as an engineer. With the help of his supervisor, family, and the staff at UW-Platteville, Daniels was able to excel in the Master of Science in Engineering program and take the next step in his career.
