University human resources has moved to stanford redwood city
This week, UHR became one of the first groups to move into the new
Stanford Redwood City campus. Between now and August, approximately 2,700 employees from nine schools/units will move to SRWC in the university’s first major expansion from the original campus in more than 125 years.
The new state-of-the-art campus enables the university to keep academic activities concentrated in one location and to bring together a number of organizations – formerly scattered in various locations on and off campus – in a center of excellence and a vibrant workplace.
What this means for you
✓ Calling the University HR Service Team: While the Service Team has relocated, our phone numbers and hours of operation are not changing. Calling the team is still your best option; SRWC still has some active construction, and unlike our former home on Porter Drive, parking at SRWC is paid, similar to how it operates on the main campus.
Call the University HR Service Team at 877-905-2985 or 650-736-2985, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, except during holidays. You can also submit a question online anytime through the My Benefits portal.
✓ Attending Workshops: All of the
workshops presented by Stanford Benefits will continue to be held on main campus at their regular locations. For example, the WorkLife Office’s monthly caregiver series will continue to be held in the Poplar Modular, 215 Panama Street, on main campus.
