Learn from the Masters

Tutoring in writing is about more than helping someone string together grammatically sound sentences. This school year, 11 Jones White Writing Center tutors completed Master Tutor Training certification. It covers working with diverse learners, handling different genres and skill levels, meeting the needs of international students, and more. Tutors also help with many center projects, including the new Dissertation and Thesis Boot Camp. (2019 photo)
UNIVERSITY NEWS
This service, which honors members of the IUP family lost this year, will take place Monday at 12:30 p.m. in the Wallwork courtyard.
Those who missed the April 22 virtual town hall with President Michael Driscoll are invited to watch a recording (IUP sign-in required). Driscoll discussed a number of topics related to getting “back to normal” in the fall.
Indi-Kids, the local day care program that also provides learning experiences for IUP’s Human Development and Family Science students, has been reaccredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. (2014 photo)
